Spiral compressors are rotating oilless compressors designed for pure oil delivery. They are aimed at medical, hospital and pharmaceutical applications. These compressors work on a two spiral basis. One of them is moving, while the second one is static. The air is aspirated from the enviroment and continuously pressed. At the same time the air is carried to the center of the spirals, where it’s cooled down. The pressing of the air from the atmospheric pressure to a departure pressure takes place gradually without any contact between moving metal parts. It is ensured by a combination of a solid screw element and by a second rotating part. A permanent repetition of this process can deliver air with a continuous flow. The absence of mechanical lubrication in a chamber of the compressor ensures a delivery of oilless air.
